My friend and I talk about this quite a bit - the E46M3 in the quarter mile vs 60-130.
Seems that they don't quite have the suspension geometry to put all that power down to the ground in the quarter, and just spin quite a bit at launch. The majority of the high-powered forced induction M3s are running low 11s in the mid 130s! IMO, should be in the 10s.
Now 60-130, thats a different story...

Guys the last time we invited some N54/N55 guys over
It didn't turn out so well and the thread was deleted.
Just race and see who is faster.
I personally dont want to see another 335i vs all AMGs debate like the last time.
It was really obnoxious with a 3 series guy comparing his car to the CL Coupe bc the CLK Coupe didn't measure up to his standards.
I can tell you a E46 M3 vs C32/C55 is a drivers race. A blown E46 325i with 440 to the wheels would put it over 510 crank hp. Maybe 300-350 lbs difference between a E55K and a 3 series. The AA kit don't put out a lot of boost tho' i think like 8lbs at the most. So they will give out on top end.
Hey BMW N00bs do you know my fake doctor buddy aka Slick44 on Bimmerfest?

Also your 300-350 lbs weight difference seems noticeably off unless supercharger kit adds a ton of extra lbs which could be possible.

A SC on a E46 could add 100lbs +/-

Peak hp doesn't mean much without a good hp curve (which the orange frankenstein 325ci does not have). Also, they used STD correction factor. STD and DIN correction factors are for dyno queens. Lastly, 0-60 in almost 5 seconds and 0-124 in nearly 15 is not going to eat many AMGs on this forum.

Those pulls were also done on 19's and low profile tires which wouldn't allow me to start in 2nd gear without breaking traction.
Like I said, if any of you guys are local just shoot me a PM. not sure why you're butt hurt .

Regardless, against anything but a bone stock 55k you'd be walked. Your car is very nice and it looks like you've put some good work into her, but this forum (particularly the 55k and V12TT guys) is full of monsters.

you're measuring that on your stop watch? LOOL!! if you're blind (or deaf), then let me tell you that I was rolling into the throttle and I did not launch on that pull.

This is my show plate
Nice so which ones were wins and losses? I ran a stage 1.5 and the stage 2. I took them both when I was basically stock. I only had cooling mods and a ECU tune. That alone brings out a lot for these 55k engines. I personally hope you run someone on here with some minor bolt on's or a stock one I'd like to see how it goes..
Wanting to know this as well..

As a side note you ever make it to the New Hope area? I just moved from there and miss it.

Go to 3:15, this is a full stage 2 kit with meth and all the other bolt on's. He got the jump and then around 90-100 I pulled.

Have not done a 1/4 - as stated before, The E46 rear end is not built for launching.

Damn, a little 3 Series got everyone wound up on here. BMW guys have big mouths, always have always will. This is nothing new here.
BTW, I think it's stupid to put any other brand name of a car if your car isn't that brand car, MB/AMG included. Because when you happen to lose, what else are you probably talking out of your ***.
