New Member Here! My First Mercedes - E55 AMG
Greetings MBWorld Forum!
I looked on Autotrader and Craigslist for a used E55 AMG. I searched for a couple months but I couldn't find the right car for the right price. I was relieved when I found this forum! It's good to see detailed listings in the Classified section at MBWorld. It's nice to know that the people who post on here really care about their cars.
I bought an 04 E55 AMG from forum member 2jzAMG in Las Vegas.
I hitched a ride from Los Angeles to Las Vegas with some partygoers and met up with the seller. Super cool guy and obvious car enhusiast. I could tell immediately upon inspection that the car was well cared for. I could also tell that it was very hard for him to let the car go.
I was driving a Lexus LS460 for a few years. This is my first Mercedes; and WOW what a car!
Driving home back to LA in the E55 was a lot of fun. The torque is monstrous! It was a nice long drive and a good bonding moment. BTW, this all happened earlier today (Jun 9).
I look forward to learning much about this car from reading posts in the MBWorld forum. Will Post pics soon. Here is the sellers ad:
