I am new and I am actively looking to make a purchase on a used Benz. Question is, is there any differences between the 05 and 06 models E55. Or does anyone know where I can find out. I know the engine is the same. Looking for if there are any changes to the ground effects or interior with the dash or console. I don't want to regret purchasing an 05 to find something on an 06 that I would have rather had. And if anyone knows of someone looking to get rid of one aswell. I am looking for a good deal as anyone else would be though. Thanks guys!

 

I believe the MY 05's and up had the big changes in reference to the console/cupholders being different versus the 03-04s as well as the 200 mph speedometer. Not sure of any other changes.

 

i think the 06 has better handling not sure if the same for 05.

 

If it's a late model 05 it will be the same as the 06
