Newbie - Removing W210 E55 AMG Air Cleaner Unit
Hi All,
Recent new owner of '02 E55. Would like to know how to remove the AMG air cleaner housing unit. I was able to figure out how to remove the front fascia portion but could not figure out how to remove the actual filter housing itself.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Also is there any recommendation on service manuals for my car. Are there CD-ROMs available or traditional hardcopy manuals, etc.
Please advise. Thanks.

The whole unit just pulls off. It is held in place by two rubber "stoppers" that clip in. The airbox itself is two piece and has torx head screws holding it together, which you will see once the airbox is removed and you turn it upside down.
