Well when you say it like that it doesnt sound like much does it? I guess you just dont know what goes into it.
Lets break it down for you.
1. $300 for flex pipe install, and have brackets made to mate the pipe to factory mounting locations at sides of trans pan.
2. 2 hrs labor for welding all flanges and collector of header. Now remember to weld, you have to clean the metal(remove the coating), make a bracket to hold the flanges all straight so that they dont warp from the heat.
3. Have header recoated.
4. (no cost) remove and reinstall the header.
Sound about right now?

I don't know why you got so much trouble, i got a new set from Kleemann, installed $350 so far for the last 9 months enjoying it without any issue.

Well I had high hopes this would not happen but it did. left side header now cracked, already have it removed to be welded up like the right side. ![Frown](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Lesson learned, dont buy used no matter how "new"! I should have been patient and waited for the new batch of headers rather than gotten these! Hopefully will be re installing this Saturday and have the 55 back on the road again.

This place is a joke.
The new Kleemann headers I just bought are different than the old versions that I see pics of...The header flange is not welded in place, it is loose over the flange, maybe this is the fix for the cracking flanges, all the other welds looked really good and strong especially around the cyl head flange. Installed them today and off to the muffler shop tomorrow to weld the downpipes....Install was easy took me about 3 1/2 hours, no surprises. An offset 10mm Gearwrench really helps. Really excited can't wait like a little kid xmas morning hahaha
