Had these put in today, got rid of my old cutouts, and did an x-pipe for secondary cats. Resonator still out. No drone whatsoever and silent inside compared to the cutouts I had. Not as raspy as it sounds in video, and not nearly as raspy as the cutouts.
Thanks to my man tbal for the push to do this! Well worth it!

So far the primary cat is still in (should I remove it???) xpipe instead of secondary cat, removed resonator. Love the no drone.

My setup is
Kleemann headers, xpipe to e63 mufflers...

Doesn't sound anything like yours, it's way more raspy. I'm going to throw a cls55 resonator in there and see it sounds better.

Dima if you remove primary it will get louder! Maybe raspy, suggest the resonator be put in.

Angelo, no pics have only had the car one day and she's very far away from me now. I took it to Lou's in Quincy (Mark) - very nice guy and good price.

So those are CLS55 mufflers that bolted right on, no hacking or welding required?

Naw these came off a totaled 07 E63..direct fit except the hangers are 1.5" or so back so my extended tips aren't so extended anymore.

OK, cool so we can go with either E63, CLS55 or C63 mufflers on our cars, right? I heard the CLS mufflers sound best from what I heard but those E63 mufflers sound amazing too.

E63 are direct fit, cls55 hang low I believe and c63 are more complicated.
Double check with tbal, guy has had em all lol

E63 direct fit sounds simple and your car sounds amazing. Will start looking for a set of these mufflers. Any drone at while cruising? That's a big deal for me, thanks.
