So...my transmission is completely shot and in need of a new unit. I did search but couldn't find anything specific on what my options were as far as rebuilding goes. Will any certified indy mechanic be able to rebuild or will I most likely have to purchase a rebuilt whole? also what are options as far as replacing with upgraded clutch packs and what are single sided/double sided clutch plates? staying within a budget of $3800. Best options or any advice is appreciated.
