Hey everyone I'm new to this board and I'm hopin to meet alot of you guys soon. I currently drive a 2000 Audi A6 2.7T and I have an E-class comin in...Which model is a secret Anyways I had a quick question. I am going all show on the E. I was plannin on gettin 20 inch HRE's. The question is to chrome or not? Mind you that this will not be my only set of rims. Most likely I will have another set of 19's to roll on occasionally. But what would you go with? And yes I will be showin this car off at showoff's and so forth... Thanks fer the opinions

 

Welcome! I see you live in my neck of the woods there in glendale. Maybe we can meet sometime once you get your new E55! How did i know the model you asked well you posted on the E55 forum that's why! Anyways HRE's are definitely the way to go as i have a set of 540R's on mine which i love! If you're going to get 2 sets get a set of 19"s 540R's for your daily roller and a set of 840R's for showin off! When are you getting your car and what color? Did you get it at Calstar or where?

 

Well for the daily driver im plannin on gettin LM's and the show is gonna be the HRE's. I might just go round in the HRE's when i'm bored. The 55 is gonna be white with the black/blue interior. For the rims i'm still lookin for rims but most likely will be gettin the LM's and the HRE's. Any suggestions on any particular model. Hopefully I will be the first 55 in glendale. Haven't seen any which is a good sign. Anyways I will be more then delightly to chill wit you when I get it. What car do you drive? What's yer name? Mine is Sun. nice to meet ya buddy

The name's James and i drive the older E55. For the HRE i'd recommend the 840R's in 20" they would look sweet on that ride. As far as being the first W211 in glendale sorry to say but i've already seen a black one with the chromed out split stock wheels and fully tinted and it looked pretty damn tight! Once you decided on the wheels give Peter @ peter@wheelexperts.com a shout and he can hook you up with the specs on those wheels. When are you suppose to receive your car?

 

Well I didn't see the black one yet so I'm still the first one Well i have only seen one silver one at werk and it is sooo booty. I love it. But eyah I might have hook-up's already so we just have to wait and see. The wait looks like 2 months right now. But it should be coming. Hopefully a lil sooner. Eyah I would definitly love to see yer ride sometime. I'll pm you my cell number or something if you interested and we can chill or whateverz if you interested. Tell me wha cha wanna do.

I am also always in Glendale as my future wife lives there and you guys seem to be missing the '03 Silver E55 that has been cruising around for the last week or so. I spotted it twice, once on Western & Glenoaks and once again on Brand near the Galleria. Let me know if you guys decide to meet up somewhere as I have already know James (wuzup dawg) and would like to meet you guys as well.
