Hight engine temperature?!!
Hey guys, I am curious as to where should the engine temp be running at. My temp is either one bar under 100c or on 100c. Is this normal? Where is everyone else's temps at?

By T stat you mean thermostat right? How would I know if it's bad? Also, everytime I drive around and park, I put my hand on the h/e and its hot. Normal?

No apology necessary my friend. It was just a stupid attempt at a joke on my part. Like FT-performance said, I would check to make sure your T-stat is opening properly. I can tell you my engine temp never gets over 90C and as soon as I get some speed up and air across the radiator, the temp drops to about 82c. I am running a secondary HE that is not isolated so my engine temps might run a little cooler than some.

Oh, lol. Well, I would deff look into this then. I have read that other guys have installed a lower temp T, is this beneficial? I was thinking of adding another h/e to the upgraded one I already have, so I guess it works out fine, right? Would the dealer do the -10 mod?
I know I'am asking a lot, just got this car about 3 months ago, still learning it.

Not true. Through datalogging I regularly see temps above 195F on hot days. New TStat and coolant flush recently. Oh, and an IC pump isn't going to change your ECT's.
I would like to find someone with Star however, need to make a few changes including the -10 mod

is not split , then changing or upgrading the IC pump , will or not not have an effect on the Engine Coolant Temp ? what about if the cooling system was split ?

I was thinking about doing a flush, see how that goes. But it has been very hot here, around high 90's and low 100's. I guess i'll wait until amb temp starts to drop and monitor it.

The proper flush on my NA M113 had to flush the coolant from the heater core also to do it right , what about the S/C M113 , ifthe system is not split , wouldnt the coolant in the SC cooling part need to be also flushed? As in not just draining the radiator

When I changed my pump last time, I noticed a drop in engine temps. And it felt like I bought a new car.. Great deal of difference. BTW, very easy to switch out if you have a lift, although do-able in the drive way with some jack stands.
What does this have to do with
