Smile E55 stage 3 recommendations ?

After finding out I have a rather nice tax rebate heading my way I have decided to spend the money on giving the old wagon some real performance . Looking for a complete package , intercooler and pump , long tube headers , 82 mm throtle body , upgraded injectors and a 178 mm pully kit and a tune .
Would you guys go for some thing like a eurocgarged stage 3 kit or buy the parts and pick the best from other suppliers ?
So looking for best options ! And do most venders do tax free exsports to the uk ?
Regards
Marc

There are a number of ways to skin this cat, and each has its own price point, opinion, and political ramification

I think the modifications you listed would make a tremendous improvement in power.

Keep us posted

+1 On Bramage comment.
Your on the right track for a parts list. Are you handy or do you have someone that can install all the parts for you?
If you do everything you have listed be prepared to drive a whole new animal.

Thanks for the comments ,
Going to do most of the spanner work my self , before I got into the AMG I had quite a collection of classic cars that I maintained/ rebuilt my self , cars I owned and maintained , BMW E9 CSL , Porsche 930 turbo , Ferrari 308 gtb carb , Maserati merak SS, Rolls Royce silver shadow , early MGB roadster and a mk1 mg midget . After having a major heart attack 5 years ago sold the lot a brought the AMG ! So far have added 20" brabus wheels and lowering links and purchased a carbon fibre front lip
I hope to do some drag racing with my Son and maybe the uk vmax ( a bit like the Texas mile ) .

You have some stiff competition for a fast UK wagon, a guy called Acid probably has the most insane one and mine is starting to come together.
I put my car together over the last 4 months and would have probably saved a lot if I just bought a package from either Eurocharged or Kleemann. Give Jerry a call he is experienced at shipping worldwide, once I ordered a part on Thursday and he had it with me in time to fit and make my rolling road session the following Tuesday.

Dont forgot fuelling and for cooling you should also think about splitting the system and adding a trunk or engine bay I/C tank.
You need to do some research on headers as not all will fit RHD without modification.

Also a right hand driver here down in New Zealand looking to do perhaps long tube headers. What header set is recommended as the best to fit without major modifications

RHD choice is pretty limited unless you go shorties, Renntech, PLM, Evosport and Supersprint o name a few all make shorties that are fine for RHD.

LTH - a guy in the UK has the Eurocharged that needed modification

Most in the UK go with Kleemann as the modification is only a small dink to give clearance for the steering, you have to also remove the primary cats and require welding.

These guys are closer to you and apparently make LTH http://www.marranos.com.au/

No longer stock '06 E55, A3 3.2 Quattro, LRD4 HSE, R107 280SL
Old Marranos never came back to me or someone else here who were looking for headers at the time..... his headers did look the nuts though and they fitted RHD cars.

Dep on yre pocket get some customs made up at Hayward & Scott, or you can go with Powerspeed down in Ashford , or just buy Kleemann for half the money.

If u ask me Kleemann are good enuf! But get some decent midsections made up.

Also call old PLopes up his car is very finely tuned, and with a mild pulley too. A few others lurking around here as well.
