Incorrect....The supercharger can engage until you have reached AITs that are crazy high....You either have a bad pump (highly likely) or air in the line.

i haven't checked my ait's yet, but i made a couple of pulls on my friends dyno yesterday for the first time. my car lost 50 wheel on the second run, and the second run was probably about 10 min after the first. so im gonna go ahead and assume you were right cij911 and my pump is also bad lol
