E63 2007 Eurocharged ECU Tune Results- Sydney
Well, thanks to this forum, i found Eurocharged! And the end result was great!
Im in Sydney Australia.
I emailed Jerry, regarding what my options were for tuning my car. Jerry explained it all to me. Alot of emails! Jerry was very patient and explained the whole process to me clearly. Very professional, and patient, as i really know nothing about all this.
My car (engine wise) is totally stock. In Australia we use 98 Oct Fuel. (well there are other ones, but 98 is all i use)
Anyway, purchased the handheld computer, and Jerry shipped it out on a Wednesday (Australia time), and it arrived Monday morning.
As soon as i got it, set it all up, and downloaded the factory ECU info, and emailed it off to Jerry. Within a short amount of time, i had my Eurocharged Tune emailed back to me.
Uploaded it to the handheld computer, followed the instructions, and uploaded it to the car with no hiccups.
Its been pretty wet here in Sydney, but all i can say is WOW.
First thing i noticed was the shifts. They feel SO much stronger. From factory, they shifts were great, though i had no idea they could be made better. Its not uncomfortable, or intrusive by any means, but just alot more assertive! (Very hard to explain, without actually feeling it!)
The drive-ability overall of the car just feels much stronger, and more powerful. From the get go, the car just feels like it really wants to "go". Especially on the Motorway, above the 2,500RPM range. I see the traction light flicker alot more now. And i have 285 Pirelli's on the rear. Before the tune, this would rarely happen.
I have yet to really put it through it paces, because of the weather, but all i can say is, it was money very well spent. And not only because of the quality of the outcome but also because of the customer service.
Thank you very much! And i will absolutely be spreading the word "Down Under" about Eurocharged.
PS- If i have time this week, i will get the car Dyno'd to get some numbers. Only wish i did Dyno BEFORE the tune. Though, i guess i could re load the factory one, then put the Eurocharged one back on and re Dyno.

Congrats, anything else planned for the car?
My local dyno guy that used to do my GM cars does MB now; I plan to do exactly what you are proposing when V4 gets released in the USA.
Please post up your results, I'll post mine when I have V4.....hopefully soon.
