BT Motorola Roadster
Any of you use the Motorola Roadster visor clipon for "hands free" talking/texting? I just purchased one on Ebay for under $50 and it has an FM audio option to talk/text via a radio station signal. Not sure if I want the FCC monitoring even more of my calls but I was wondering if any of you currently use it and what your thoughts were? Thanks DG

I have used one of those in the past. If you have a loud exhasut system then forget it, the ambient noise inside the cabin will be to high. Also you will have to keep on removing it from the car to charge the unit.

No loud exhaust here, just stock! Charging is kind of a pain in the butt (agreed), but my main concern is the FM option. You ever use it Shard?

OK try this - does your car have a aux connection for a headphone jack? If yes connect the wire to the headphone jack on your phone. One when you make or receive a call use spreker phone and the call audio will be played through the car speakers and the phone will utilize its own mic.

You have better luck with that route? Personally I don't want to have to touch phone to switch to speaker mode hence not hands free. However I just used the FM option and its not entirely free from background noise/static. I will give your optikn a college try! Lol....
