I currently drive a 2011 grand sport corvette, but have had a close friend battling cancer and thinking about trading down to a e55 or an cls55, dealership is offering me the following car for 34k out the door, currently owe 46800 on the vette, so a bit underwater on that, but is that a good deal for this car? Also in regards to a similar CLS55, around what should i expect to pay for one of those?

I also went from a Z06 to an E55. It's a big difference in terms of chassis & feel but the power & torque you will love!

I agree, I went from a SCed Z06 on coilovers to the E55 wagon. The Z06 was an excellent car, but I found myself using 10% of what it was capable of on a daily basis. The E55 gives me roughly the same performance as the Z06 and adds far more comfort, class, utility, and drivability in one package that can be used daily.

Sure, I miss the razor sharp handling and sound of the Kooks longtubes and GHL exhaust, but I am much happier with the E55 as a daily driver.
