townfair tire blows

I got pilot super sports installed and had them do an alignment and not even 6k miles later the fronts have wires showing on the inside.

The rears look brand new and they won't help at all with the fronts.they keep telling me its aftermarket suspention etc.those who seen my car know I'm stock rear height and barely a front drop at all with links.

I'm basically out 600 and sitting here chocking of tire fumes

Edit just looked at the sheet and the guy said I need a camber kit for the front to dial it in.

Okay the kid told me Mercedes makes a eccentric bolt kit for our cars that allows adjustment.I just picked them up at the dealer and see how much they help.

yes those bolts will help some and if you are not that low you should be able to get close to 1 or less.

I just bought 2,do we need upper only? My camber was 2.9 on both sides and if I can get it to 1.9 I'll be happy

My CLS55 is lowered via Star about an inch all around. After an alignment with toe bolts, I was able to get my toe very close to zero. The camber is around -2 both front and back. I got 12k out of my front tires. They were the OEM Potenza’s. No cords were showing but they were a little chopped. I could have gone longer. I feel that toe is much more significant on tire wear than camber.

it won't correct it by a degree, but it might be around -2.5 after you put the bolts in.

The car was lowered when they alignwd it? If they aligned it how it sit now, and NOW are telling you it can't be aligned properly as is I'd have a serious issue with them. If you changed things after the alignment you can't really fault them.

The car is the same with no changes done.I got a free alighment and now the car pulls to the right.a punk kid with tats all over his body whipped my car around the front if the lot doing like 40 and cutting a sharp turn to get into the lot.

I was just grilling him and shaking my head and just grabbed my keys without paying the 69 bucks

I agree, that's about all you will get. They are very easy to install though.

Max camber spec is -1.5 iirc. You might need to raise the front a little if you want to get back to -2.0.

What did they say your toe was? That tends to scrub tires down quicker than camber issues.

Toe is adjustable via tie rod ends, no bolts. Camber and caster is adjustable via not eccentrics like the old cars(140 era) but our cars have bolts you can go positive, neutral, and negative. Depending on which way you install the bolt the groves in the bolt slide into the "****"(lol) in the bushings.

Actually this fling alignment cost me almost 2k

1200 for the first set of tires and now another 600 for new fronts plus another alignment at another shop.

How would you feel if you bought the most expensive tires that are street legal and got less than 5k miles on them?

Never mind go back to your Bimmer forums

PS if been using that Chinese elm for almost 2 years and its worked on every cell/tablet I've tried it with
