yea my buddy said to get that johnson pump but we never had probs. on the cobras and lightnings with the bosh if they went you just replaced them and they were fine. An 03 cobra we were racing at the time had a pump failure so a e55 amg pump was slapped in it was laying around and that car ran in the 10's so bosh is good i guess.

Go with either johnson CM30, its great and fast, if however you go with Bosch 010 HD pump, you will notice how the E55 transforms into an almost un-forgivable super thrust fowards like an explosive burst of Beast

Where was this post when I ordered from amazon for $125 shipped the other day? lol
I think mine may have been dieing and its an easy cheap swap and common so I ordered one. Is this thing gonna want to leak all over me when I put the new one in? Any special way to bleed the air out? Seems very easy to swap, just wanna make sure I'm not missing anything.

It's pretty straight forward. I used a set of hose pliers to clamp down on the lines so i didn't make a huge mess. Only coolant lost was what was in the pump and couple inches of lines on each side. Good luck.

Hey guys,
I need a new Bosch 010 pump for my 2003 S55. Is it the same exact pump as the E55? I was gonna snag one from EBay, but they don't list the S55 as a compatible model.
Part # 0 392 022 010
Thanks in advance!

Match up those part numbers to your favorite discount parts website and you should be golden.
