Lowered the E63 is this to low?

07 E63 -

I lowered the car which sits on stock amg tires/wheels,

Front 24/7/8
Rear 24 1/2

This morning I checked the height again since the car sat over night and I have,

Front 24 1/2
Rear 23 7/8

Is it normal for the cars to deflate a bit over night when sitting or is this an issue?

I know it will inflate back to the normal height when I start the car but a local shop said this is happening because I lowered the car to much.

What do you guys think?

The rear of my car will dump almost on top of the tire if it sits for a while. I've thought about a potential leak, but it always pumps right back up and it's been like this for nearly a year so.....?

I have also thought I have a leak but haven't messed with anything. My E55 will slam in the rear after a few days, and you can notice it get lower after sitting for a day.

Mine sat for months over winter and never dropped at all. I should probably move that ladder I use as a form of bump stop under the rear end in case it does decide to drag its rear end on my garage floor one day. lol

Sounds like we all must have some kind of a leak if BBBSS stays at a firm height.

If it drops anything its maybe a half inch or something that I can't even notice. I'll be driving my truck most of the week probably so I'll fire up the beast and then measure wheel well heights and let it sit a few days and see if it moves at all.

As I mentioned I have a aluminum extension ladder laying behind the back tires that I've kinda used as a stopping block so I don't hit the wall for years and it's not a big gap between the ladder and the back bumper and I've never seen it look like it was even close to hitting the ladder ever. I leave it parked all winter and drive my truck due to the road salt in Chicago. My battery got weak (guessing from the air pump cycling) by spring time and I needed to charge the battery as it wouldn't even crank over anymore but it never did drop at all.

I did learn that I should stop being lazy and get a battery tender as I intended for it if I leave it parked a long time like that again though. lol

Mine if left alone for less than a week will look like this. Guess I need to some how find out where it is leaking. Just not quite sure how since it doesn't seem to leak fast enough that I would hear it or maybe put soapy water and look for bubbles since it takes a few days for a major drop. Would be nice if it was a line fitting somewhere and not an actual airbag. With both sides dropping all the way down in the back I kinda think it would be something like the distribution block up front in driver side fender but then how come the fronts aren't dropping? Hmm, it is a mystery.

Mine does that too but only a little bit and if it sits for about a week which it almost never does. I did go on holidays and when I came back 2 weeks later the car was lower but as soon as the pump worked it went back to normal. If it dumps in like 1 night then yes that's got issues.
