A stock Lightning with only a tune may run a 13.0. A stock E55 should hand him his azz.

the point was the heat soak of the car and had 0 supercharger from the roll. I been racing lightnings for years we do not see 13 second lightnings thats for sure.

So we are all confused by your posts because you seem to contradict yourself alot.

When you say " I been racing lightnings for years we do not see 13 second lightnings thats for sure. " are you saying that they are faster or slower than that?

E55 w/ goods, Z32 Project underway
They are mid 13 second vehicles stock all day long, 14-15 seconds when soaked. Of course you can mod them like anything else. In the end you still have a truck that will explode and kills the occupants at the slightest impact. That chassis is a deathtrap.

Someone at Ford should have went to jail for making such garbage. Friend of mine hit an Accord with his F150, both he and his wife sustained lower injuries-broken foot and something else. Accord driver-nothing. From what he told me, it was not even a high impact crash. 04 and up F150s is what you want. 1999-2000 were only 360hp and closer to 14 second trucks. From there 380hp I think. 04 Lightnings are the only one's someone should buy based on the deathtrap earlier models were. It was also the last year. Not sure how my F350 Dually would do in a crash with 4 doors and b-pillar, rather not find out either.

Reading these (or should I say trying to read) posts hurt my head. I can understand one mistake from time to time with incorrect spelling or grammar and in this case lack of punctuation, but every single post?

I am still trying to figure out the point of the post as well. So a Lightning was ran against an E55, the E55 was not running correctly causing the supercharger not to engage causing it to have the acceleration of a Kia.

You then wanted to share this with us that the Lightning won? Then you talk about how you only do good tunes for Lightnings but if the E55 actually ran properly (with a supercharger) it would have smoked the Lightning that you tuned? I don't get what is trying to be conveyed here.

You may have worse sentence structure and composition than the entire cast of Toddlers and Tiaras.
And even they can beat a lightning, tuned or not, with an E55.

Double fail plus a penalty for style.

Forget learning drag racing, what you need is an english teacher lol.

I say you run this car and truck against each other again though, when the car is working right obviously, and get it on video. Still don't understand how the supercharger wasn't working in the E55 unless the belt came off.

Isn't there a clutch that activates the SC under load?

Yes, the clutch not working isn't any kind of common problem though. Not sure if I have actually ever heard of the clutch completely not working, just them chirping when they get worn out.

I hate forums where people do not even attempt to use punctuation. It makes it seem like a joke.

It looks like Ford considers the driver and passenger legs as crumple zones...
Just another reason why I don't like Ford anything.
