Windshield Tint Question

I'm getting tint put on my car today at the dealership that I work for, and the tinter was saying, kind of a disclaimer, that a lot of water will be put down the glass and essentially into the dash up between the glass... I'm thinking about NOT doing the windshield as I do not want to risk anything shorting out or getting jacked up. Any thoughts on this? Doing the windshield isn't that big of a deal, but it is nice.

This place is a joke.
There is really not much back there up against the firewall area...mostly noise insulation.I think you should be fine.

Correct, I would still cover the dash with something though. No sence getting it wetter than you need to. I had the tinter at my work tint mine on my s600 and it was fine. My dash is leather too and I was more worried about that getting damaged than the electronics.

Also, in the frigid north (not AZ ) it is not uncommon for condensation to drip down the windshield and I'm sure engineers plan for that.

Messed with an 2002 era M5 and a newer 2006 looking M5 but they were both old guys and not in the mood I guess lol Most of the action comes from 3 series of all years :p
