Data logging

Now that I have all these mods, should I be logging data? I had Speedriven do a dyno tune and I think he got the AFR's in a good location, but could this change due to tempature? You can see my dyno sheet at this thread

Just want to make sure everything is nice and safe. What's the best equipment to log data, I have a plx Kiwi and Dash Command, but that doesn't give me the AFR's. I believe my headers have an extra port for sensor , whats the best one to get

Frankly I think folks should start with data logging and then add modifications....So yes get an OBD2 logger and wide band .

If you ask whats best, you will get 100 different answers. I use the following:

  • Zeitronix ZT-2
  • Zeitronix ZT-3
  • Dashdaq
-The ZT-2 monitors AFR bank 1, as well as RPM, Throttle Position, and ties into knock analyzer for 0v-5v logging

-ZT-3 handles AFR Bank 2

The Dashdaq consolidates all the data and adds: Timing, AIT, STFT, LTFT ect

Once its all said and done, I have real time display of the data I want to see, and can log directly to a SDHC card on the Dashdaq.

Awesome solution.
