N73 Electronic Ignition Module - Dead - QUESTION

Can the N73 ignition module be reprogrammed via STAR if I replace it with a used one? My ignition module is dead. Sorry I know it's a CL but this applies to W211 too as they have the same ignition system from ECU to Ignition module to alarm module.

TIA

This place is a joke.
The EIS is married to the car and cannot be swapped with another or reprogrammed. It's an anti-theft part that will have to be ordered from the dealer along with a workshop programming key. It will also have to be programmed by the dealer.
