Bottom End Power Limit?
What kind of power can the bottom end handle before she lets loose. I know that a lot has to do with the tune but there is a number that you can base it around!? So what is that number

My opinion is nobody truely knows, because nobody has ran with anything other than the fire breathing dragon we call our stock supercharger. Things could be very different with a much more efficient and cooler intake air blowing aftermarket blower. High intake temps lead to high cylinder temps which can then cause an unstable environment and be more prone for detonation to occur. There is a known "cylinder 8" problem with several piston failures from a lean condition running stock sized injectors on fully modded cars. Some have had piston failure which was parts of it breaking instead of melting on better fueling equipped vehicles (larger injectors, fuel rails, etc) but you are still dealing with the big crank pullies running with the stock supercharger and causing high heat conditions that could very well be the culprit for failures like those.
Those are my $.02

What he said ^. We just really don't know. 99% depends on the tune in my opinion. I've made over 800 on nitrous using race gas on a pretty aggressive tune but backed it back off. I made 619rwhp before changing intakes and having to add more fuel do I would say 630-640's and my bottom end was fine when we took it apart. I think they will handle in the 700's but our stock rod bolt isn't up to the task for extended time at that power level. That's just my opinion.

Best bet is to take it one step at a time with mods, log, dyno, tune. Some seem to blow motors daily while others are still strong such as mine. KNOCK KNOCK. And never be a guinea pig on a mod that can destroy your motor.

I am just trying to figure it out... I have modded a slue of cars before, and broken a few of those on the way, modding including a Lightning, Duramax's, Cobra's, TBSS, Audi S4, 335xi, hot rod 1994 chevy truck...
I know the doing R&D for companies is an amazing way to **** money and buy new parts! I really just wanted to know where we thought it was...So as long as I supply enough fuel and a nice conservative tune I should be alright...

Now that the Weistec is out I think power level over 700whp will be achieved and I think building the stock internals is a wise thing to avoid catastrophic damage.
