I would run no more than 20 psi when they are warm.

Dirt Scooters
I've ran on those and have tried anywhere from 15psi to 30psi and found them best at 25psi warm. Any idea what your car weighs?

If great lakes is still doing "slicks only night" then throw on the Mickey Thompson's and go that night. They prep the line very well for those nights. This time of year regular test and tunes won't have very good prep typically.

Thanks for all the advice guys!! You have been most helpful. I think they have a slicks only night tomorrow. I'll see what the temps are supposed to be like tomorrow and maybe get the slicks out and give her a run. I will update with times. Hopefully this time around I'll have a my adrenaline more under control!! Not sure what the car weighs I think they do have a scale out at great lakes though. Also I assume it would be better to have very little fuel in the gas tank?? Maybe a problem as I just filled up today. Do you guys run in Dyno mode or just traction control off?

The scale is on the return road on your right. Hopefully they have it working properly. It's been a lil iffy over the years if it was gonna be working. lol

The tank being full will slow you down a tenth or so Vs. being closer to empty. I'd stick with traction off, dyno mode can kick your *** before you know what happened and you are new to the track so a small safety net is a good idea.

With the drag radials, there's no reason to worry about your adrenaline. These cars are very easy to launch on sticky meat out back. It's the ultimate driver equalizer on these cars. Point. Aim. Fire.

Have fun, and be safe.

A lot of guys that run drags, dial the power right up with almost like a 1 second time from no throttle to WOT. If they stick they stick. you might want to try this technique and then play with it. If you are sticking good, try launching with a few 100 revs above idle.
