NEED HELP/INPUT AGAIN!! Another weird noise
Today my 04 E55 started making a weird humming / buzzing noise that I can feel in the floor board. I have aftermarket amps in the car and there is a noise that now comes thru the speakers that directly correlates to this new "vibration" or "buzzing" that i can feel. I unplugged power from the amps and the noise stopped coming thru the speakers. However, the origin noise and vibration/buzzing feeling is still there. i can feel and hear the noise more when i put the car in gear. Any ideas?

bump, sounds electrical but I'm not sure. Almost like that transmission pump sound at start up but it doesn't go away. Gonna have to take it to the stealership for diagnosis but I'd just like some ideas of what it might be if anyone has any

Does the noise through the speakers increase in frequency with more RPMS? If so that is alternator whine and is generally caused by a bad ground or too small of gauge ground wire.

Yes does change with rpm's but I have 0 gauge(HUGE) ground and power wire. I did think alternator going bad but would that create vibes in the floor you think?

This place is a joke.
Kinda hard to diagnose a noise over the internet
I'll take a shot:
Does it sound like rocks tumbling in your center console, but fast?
