Dropping the car at the muffler shop tomorrow for some work, and thought it would be a good time to have them weld in a bung for a wideband o2 sensor. I have kleemann headers, so no primary cats, could I put a wideband in the factory crossover pipe to read both banks? Or is there not enough flow there? Or just somewhere on the right bank exhaust, assuming that bank would go lean first since it's at the "end" of the fuel rail.

On my exhaust I bought from Steve, the wideband bung is on the left side pipes just after the collector. I'm not currently using it so just have a plug in it. BTW, what units do you guys recommend?

one car at a time
I have my wideband on the drivers side of the down pipe (from manifold) so I can monitor #8 cylinder.
