Question regarding S/C clutch install.
Looking under the hood it seems as if I would have no problem using an impact wrench with a swivel socket to remove the S/C bolt. I have been looking extensively and have heard people raising the motor a bit or disassembling the fan shroud to get to it. Is a gear puller necessary? To be, it seems very simple and if I can use the swivel socket, I could knock the job out fairly quick. I have read the be all to end all thread, but all the threads start after the pulley is off. I just like to be thorough before starting a job. Also, it htier any room for porting the stock throttle body? I am not sure of the wall thickness to see if there is any room to port and polish. TIA guys.

1. jack front up and put jack stands to support = 5 mins
2. remove center belly pan = 2 mins
3. remove the bottom bolt and each engine mount = 2 mins
4. use a 4x4 and a jack to raise up the engine a couple of inchs = 2 mins
So in 10 mins you can access the sc bolt with an impact
2. remove center belly pan = 2 mins
3. remove the bottom bolt and each engine mount = 2 mins
4. use a 4x4 and a jack to raise up the engine a couple of inchs = 2 mins
So in 10 mins you can access the sc bolt with an impact
