I noticed that when my fuel gets below a 1/2 tank, the gauge is not correct. It won't go below about 5/8th full always showing that much fuel even though I know I am well below 1/4 tank. When I fill up, it goes to full, but then as I burn fuel, the same thing happens. Any suggestions?

I have seen this on two other MB's a 190E and an ML both were loose ground wire on sending unit.

Sending unit is under the back seat, pop the two Port hole covers".
