Worlds fastest CL55 AMG
This is JSBenz down in Miami. We meet at the track often and I'm not sure why the 10.6 was not on this vid. You can clearly see him fighting for traction and still trapping high. There were a few of the S. FL crew there that saw this record pass.
Enjoy!
JSBenz vs GTR
JSBenz vs Hotrod
RedBullJnky vs JSBenz
I ran 7.1 and he ran 7.2. He blew the tires off on his launch and still beat me to the finish.

Nice runs! How does he tune his own car? If only we had a way to tune our own cars it would open up the door for a lot more. It's so hard to dial a tune in on the dyno and then have to work at getting the drivability good also not to mention being able to try little things without having to call Jerry to add some fuel or tinker with this or that.

I agree for once, lol
He actually likes to tune on the road, he will start dyno tuning in nov but he will still bring the car out as well
He will NEVER come on the forums as he simply doesn't have the time as his business keeps him very busy

Yea I'm not knocking the tuners at all I'm just saying it would be so nice if we could do it ourselves. I believe the platform would be so much further along also. I had a drag radial mustang that I tried tuning myself and quickly realized first its not easy and all the power in the world is nothing without traction. I had a well known person tune it to figure out what I was doing wrong and it was trial and error after that.

Damn, that is quick. He really has his CL well figured out. Congrats to JSBenz.
" World Record" LOL...I hate to admit I followed in the footsteps of those before me with that title. Once I stopped and looked up, I realized the path those steps led me down didn't suit me. Live and learn.
RBJ, so what are your thoughts on comparing nitrous cars and non-nitrous cars? Do you feel they should all be grouped together, or separate categories for both?

ET Streets can be either bias ply or radial construction.
When saying "Drag radial" they mean the ET Street drag radial.
Bias ply ET Street: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mtt-3755/overview/
Radial ET Street: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mtt-3756r
I will be running a set of 275/30/18 DR's tonight!
