I Waited 6 weeks for the poor quality product from fab tech. and on top of that they are not even fully carbon fiber and again like the catch can that I got stuck with, the scoops were not with proper parts. About half of it is cf and the other half is poorly made crap

I have TTM Scoops which I love, but are the CF "Tubes" (Or whatever you call them) good quality?

After seeing all these problems. I think I am not going to get anything from him anymore. I really wanted the engine cover and cf tubes.

Don't waste your money for the cf scoops he deff skimmed out on the carbon fiber. You would thinks six weeks to make that they would be perfect

The CF Tubes are very good quality. I can attest to that. I love mine.
Dont confuse the two offerings. Plus Mikey (the guy who sells them) is very close to you and he is a vendor here.

Sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the final product. At the end of the day for the money you paid, you should have expected something better than what is pictured.

Wont comment on the CF Scoops because i don't like to gloat and the vendor isn't here anymore to defend himself. If Evolved8 shows up to defend his product I will be surprised.

Btw I'm sure Awhiteknight55 will come to Flaptech's rescue.

Thanks for posting this... yah first off he deleted my review of them, second of all they are complete crap!! without investing a days worth of bodywork they make your engine bay look horrable.. the weavs inside are layed like crap... by the time am done they will look perfeft but dont expect anything close to that original. HIS STUFF suck period. Only bought them to match rest of my cf sheme but had I known or seen em in person.. never would I have bought them... am almost done with bondo sand sand sand prime sand... all day yesterday. So if your a prefectionist you will not be happy simple as that..

Ill post finished product and you all have seen the pics of them original on this thread..

They look good, FYI, the TTM scoops are not perfect either and he never responded to the complaints about fitment. Some even trimmed theirs. My kit is good, but it took time, additional parts, and certainly effort to make it work. What exactly is wrong with them, because they are not coated on the inside?

^^ they are just rough man, the inside seams are a mess as if massive painy was dripping and dried out

Yup, my TTM scoops didn't fit at all. I had to cut the top portion of the scoop just to make them work. You dont see me making threads crying about it.

TTM scoops actually look good so one shouldn't complain about "not fitting". I rather trim a great product than buying an inferior product which needs a lot more work. Makes me not want to buy anything CF anymore

How about a product that looks good and fits as advertised? Who would have thought of that. For all the praise TTM gets, I would have thought they would have supplied me with a product that wouldn't need any modifications to work.

So you rather have CF product that isn't up to par on quality? Apparently not enough resin or fiberglass wasn't used, which is why that sheet came apart at the end. I rather just get TTM scoops and slap CF vinyl on it rather than Fab Tech's scoops. I would be VERY upset throwing temper tantrums up in this *****. Thank god I have CLS lol
