instrument cluster
Do any of you guys know if there is a choice when it comes to the instrument cluster display for a 2004 E55? I've noticed some pictures on this board show the inst. display in the usual white "look", but i have also seen a black inst. cluster that looks more sober ?
are there options for this, or will the new cars all have the white display?

The black instrument cluster with a chrome ring is a feature of the elegance/standard in the US versions. The white is of the E55/Avantgarde/Sport models and black with no chrome at all is a feature of the classic line (N/A in the states) so all E55's have the white with chrome and alu cluster standard.

Nicest cluster out
The white cluster is really nice,easily read and sporty,yet still being classy and luxurious at the same time.The blue/purple glow at night is beautiful,the first time I drove my car at night I fell in love with it,and passengers always comment.I wasnt aware that a black cluster was available.If that is true(I havent heard that at all though), my choice is the white one all the way.You will be very happy..........
