I am looking for a 3" benz symbol for trunk, preferably in black, but doesnt really matter as I have to paint them anyways. Got the rest of the badges in black, just need to hunt this down. Anyone know where to grab it? Cant seem to find that size on ebay.

 

I have had all kinds of rims and rock chips happen! Just a fact with driving down a public road. I don't think these chip any easier then any other rim.

Got everything for the car including the concave rims. Car has been at eurocharged over holidays, getting a bunch of work done mostly performance and some maintanance. The baseline dyno run was 445hp. Curious to see what it comes out with . Apparently should be in the 550 range when its all done.

Did you buy the black AMG badge off eBay? Some of the knockoff badges that I've seen have the "///" portion of the //// AMG badge backwards. The larger parallelogram is supposed to be on the left and it gets more narrow towards the right.

Today was judgement day, the anticipation was killing me. I am sure Jerry is calling me a "ball breaker" (sorry .

With a 93 octane tune, the car is at 551rwhp and 635 lb of torque. Apparently couple of more dyno pulls tomorrow but thats where we are at. Cant wait to get it home.

 

Those are huge tq numbers.. Should be a fun car

 

Should have car back within couple of days. Not sure what to expect.

Eh no problem. You could always just take yours off, reapply some new tape and then reattach it.

OEM didn't make them in black so you either buy your own and paint or just go the knockoff route as it's already done for you.

I did spray my friends' logos matte black with plasti dip and that was super easy. No need to even take the logos off the car!

 

finally got the car back this weekend, was able to get rims on. Sitting abnormally high in the rear, need to get that taken care of.

nonetheless, its pretty much done.

 

Once you lower it, it will look great.

 

not sure why its so jacked up in the rear all of sudden, front is fine.
got some options to figure it out.

Something is deffinetly wrong with the rear!

 

figured out the issue, seems one of the rear links got tied up on a strap on the dyno and was replaced, the previous owner had bent the links to lower it. SO EC straightened them out as there was one new one to replace the broken one and the other old one that got straightened out.

 

Damn, you got a smoking deal and it looks **** with the CV3's!
