Thanks again Jerry! Stopped by the Houston Office for the ECU & TCU tune during my lunch break and was out the door in 35 minutes. I should have listen to grantwoodtx and gotten it done sooner. Had a blast driving back to work.

Are you kidding? You never got back to me at all! I left two messages on your phone while you were at the Texas Mile, and left a note on Facebook. Your coupon code wouldnt work.

Not that Im angry, I apologize if it seemed so. But the comment about extending the sale because they were unable to reply to people in a timely manner sort of bugged me. If I was going to offer a service, I would make pretty sure I responded to people emails to sell my product or service if it took me 12 hours a day to do so. So it was apparent it would seem, that some emails were replied to. Just not mine. Oh well, I lost out. Of to the next vendor.
In reading someone elses post, they paid for 2nd day shipping and were still waiting a week later.
Makes me wonder about the customer service.

Anyway.........

So if you are worried about the customer service, don't buy?

They aren't telling you do all ECU/TCU this now. I did this last year and I know they would be busy as fawk so I waited 2 months to do ECU tune and never did TCU tune till I got my CLS. I used the TCU tune for the E500 towards CLS. Just e-mail them or keep calling and pay through credit card over phone. Much easier and faster then waiting for a coupon code.

I called and got through to someone both times I called. Paid by CC on the phone and was done in a couple minutes. It sucks they missed your messages somehow but perhaps if they have them and can back up your claims they may have been able to do something. Now that you kinda flew off the handle a bit who knows though....

It was a crazy sale and they got flooded with people buying stuff. They extended it a few days to try and keep up. I think that's pretty good on their part. I know at my work sometimes things slip through the cracks like this and it looks bad but unfortunately sometimes **** just happens. I would have been a lot cooler about it till I got a hold of someone, but that's just me.

That is what I was saying... They had a crazy stupid sale and don't have enough man power so they extended it, which is good on their part. It is like going to Walmart on Black Friday and asking a rep for help when they will probably brush you off cause they have to deal with hundreds of other shoppers at once.

I guess maybe you have to be in businees for yourself to be able to understand what I was saying. At my shop customers come first. Period.
BBBSS my claim does not need to be backed up. Go look at their facebook page, find my post, (from two weeks ago) and see if there is a response I missed from them. I dont care if they wont honor it regardless if you feel I flew of the handle a bit or not. I am not going to to beg someone to take my money.LOL!

The guys at EC are professionals, they just get backed up like many other companies do from time to time. It happens but I'm sure you know this if you own your own business like you say. I'm sure if you get a hold of them, they will hook you up even though you "flew off the handle a little". I'm sure you did not hurt their feelings

I don't get it either, you say you want to take advantage of the sale but then complain that I won't beg anyone to take my money. Seems like money is no object so go to Renntech maybe?

I doubt they are. And professional they seemed to be! They remarked on their Facebook that they will extend the offer as of this morning. Very Nice! So now I buy their product and give rave/glowing reviews of the stuff like everyone else who buys from them!!

Yeah apparently it is hard to tell. I was not being sarcastic. I am very happy he extended the offer. djrabbi, What's there to get? Money is no object? Not the case at all. EC has what I can tell by reading the boards, one of the best reputations for parts and service in the industry. Thats why I was so shocked as to never receive a reply. But now, since my posting, they have replied! All is good in the world again. I even got his personal email so this wont happen anymore! Very excited!!!

EC must be going crazy, nearly 2 weeks since I've paid and nothing back yet... Jake and Adam emailed with me, but then no solid plans on the TCU

Its easy.

1. Call EC to setup a tuning appointment
2. Prior to that appointment day, setup your PC access account through logmein.com (or whoever EC tells you to use) to allow EC to use your laptop to remote tune.
3. Call in at your scheduled time, give your tuner the password to access your laptop remotely.
4. The tuner will walk you through everything else.
5. Enjoy

Doh!....EC beat me to it......
