TRS HID Kit

Put these in my dad's new car as a $60k car doesn't come with HIDs no more on Mercedes

I think they look great and really identical to my lights on my CLS.

I swear their 35w kits shine like most 50w kits on the market.

Don't get DDM tuning, I had them on my E500 and they would overheat the ballast and started to smoke. Just get TRS, they have a real and GREAT warranty. Your car though

do your fogs turn on at night when you unlock the car?
or stay on when you shutdown?

i dont have it set like that but yes they do turn on and when locked turn off... but i dont keep it on AUTO i do it all manual i dont know why i dont like AUTO i have the xentec now and they seem to be great... the light output is awsome except one of the ballasts failed on me so i replaced it well see... if they fail again i will get the slim CAN-BUS Ballast Error Free

this is the link and the orginal price is $169 but seems like on sale $85
http://www.khoalty.com/hid-xenon-replacement-kit.html

but same set on ebay $60
http://www.ebay.com/itm/181037661266...84.m1423.l2649

THIS is straight from their FAQ

What is a CANBUS BALLAST FOR?

It’s used for any flickering on your HID lights or if you have a light out message on your dash.
-CANBUS BALLAST WOULD FIX IT ALL…

What are the most affected vehicles?
-Audi, BMW, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Mercedes, VW

Can I install this ballast on a non CANBUS set of bulbs?
-Yes

Is this the same as a capacitor or canceller cable?
-Yes, because the CANBUS ballast comes with an integrated Capacitor.

Is this ballast universal for any HID kit?
-Yes, and they are plug and play to your HID bulb.

Can I use the ballast even if I don’t have any issues with my HID lights?
-Yes, CANBUS BALLAST will last you longer than any other ballast, plus it will help to have an error free HID kit.

and if anyone is wondering who manufactures them... they are made by "Khoalty"

cool thanks!

so this would be the correct set for the E55 fogs (9006 bulbs) and 6000k temps - right?

for you YES that is the correct set but for me its the H7 since we have different front ends and fogs. Also keep in mind that link you send me its for a 55w i dont think its necesary to have 55w for our fog lights as there is so much more output it will loose color to your HID... do the 35w and they will be great, and depending if you want 6000k or 8000k thats up to you.. i have mine 8000k, looks amazing

if you do get them let me know how it goes, i know i'll end up getting a set too

Haters crazy
Hids are never "standard" on Benz, its an option, hence why your dads 60k vehicle didnt have it.

You get what you pay for with the China made brands. I wouldn't touch anything that isn't osram, phillps or mtec.

Can anyone verify if the 05 uses a 9006 or H11 Bulb? IIRC, the bulb is the same size, the only difference is whether the tabs are before or after the rubber gasket.
