To gain even more power.. Thats like saying i got 20 whp from a certain pulley, but why go to a larger pulley? Why, because you will likely make more power..
Your logic is pathetic

sounds kind of optimistic to me esp for a cat back system. IF the gains were true, then why wouldnt a similar design such as Meisterchaft/Eisenmann claim the same. Why wouldnbt the forerunners such as eurocharged, ttm, and hooleyboy offer something similar.
Are you telling me that Fabtech stumbled onto a breakthrough.
I have to questions the OPs reason for posting this?
Did you buy these from Steve knowing the quality control issues he has? The reputation he has here and on other forums? And how he has left MANY customers on the hook?
And indeed if you did purchase these, you were really willing to throw away $1,100 on a hunch?
OP i discount your claims...thats it.....It sounds to me this thread is heavily influenced by Fabtech........the wording ad descriptions soundvaguely famialir......If you did purchase these please post up the paypal reciept with your personal information edited out.
The only way to validate your claims is for a third party willing to hack up their exhaust systems to try these out.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
The claims though.......... bit of a stretch imo.
Still, I have yet to this day heard an exhaust on this car that got me excited. This is not a Mustang ,etc and I rather it never sound like one.
Would like ours to sound more like this

either way, i'm sure more have bought these setups - but will they dyno?
hopefully all the FT-P bashing will go the way of the RTR pulley and just die off eventually

When Magnaflow used my car to prototype a E55 exhaust system they built a cat back system and got SEVEN Wheel Horsepower and SIX foot/pounds of torque. Using those same mufflers. so yeah there is no way you got what you claim.
So yeah fabtech is lying their asses off

! They are just mufflers

pearlpower seems to be the only thoughtful voice in the whole thread.
There is NO WAY these will make that kind of power, sounds like bait and switch and trying to get people to buy into something that they know is Not true...
You will not get that much of HP swing on normal temp changes.
In on of the posts they said that the +40 run was the highest and then it was trending down and they posted the +25
They are gaming the system to try to make sales. It's just like Exotic-Metal and his dyno run and his "Legit numbers"
