Your logic is pathetic
I've been lurking this forum as well as PSC for a while and I have to tell you, you really ARE a moron. Cheers

I never said I believe that these mufflers made this kind of power.. I actually think these gains are quite unrealistic. However, I was just wondering if Hulk actually had any proof. Which of course he doesn't.

Why do some of you guys get so worked up? Please tone it down, cool it with the personal attacks and give the op's thread just a little respect.

I dont believe the claims either
sounds kind of optimistic to me esp for a cat back system. IF the gains were true, then why wouldnt a similar design such as Meisterchaft/Eisenmann claim the same. Why wouldnbt the forerunners such as eurocharged, ttm, and hooleyboy offer something similar.

Are you telling me that Fabtech stumbled onto a breakthrough.
I have to questions the OPs reason for posting this?

Did you buy these from Steve knowing the quality control issues he has? The reputation he has here and on other forums? And how he has left MANY customers on the hook?
And indeed if you did purchase these, you were really willing to throw away $1,100 on a hunch?

OP i discount your claims...thats it.....It sounds to me this thread is heavily influenced by Fabtech........the wording ad descriptions soundvaguely famialir......If you did purchase these please post up the paypal reciept with your personal information edited out.

The only way to validate your claims is for a third party willing to hack up their exhaust systems to try these out.

E55 w/ goods, Z32 Project underway
The set up itself is clean, we have all seen and some have far worse on our cars. The bends are nice from what I can tell. I'm sure the plate is covering up the Maganaflow name or otherwise, but if that is the case all the better as Magnaflow is a decent product, never had an issue with them myself.

The claims though.......... bit of a stretch imo.

Still, I have yet to this day heard an exhaust on this car that got me excited. This is not a Mustang ,etc and I rather it never sound like one.

Would like ours to sound more like this

Ohhhhh................. After several well know unbiased posters have come to a concensus, you doubletrack and decide you dont want to ride the fabtech bus...............Another documented case of talking out of both sides of your mouth.
Furthers my claim that you really are a pot stirrer.

guys - this could be as simple as a dyno in the late evening, swap the mufflers in the morning and re-dyno... temp differences alone could benefit that much HP

either way, i'm sure more have bought these setups - but will they dyno?

hopefully all the FT-P bashing will go the way of the RTR pulley and just die off eventually

Okay I think I need to repeat myself

When Magnaflow used my car to prototype a E55 exhaust system they built a cat back system and got SEVEN Wheel Horsepower and SIX foot/pounds of torque. Using those same mufflers. so yeah there is no way you got what you claim.

So yeah fabtech is lying their asses off

No way you get that much hp from just muffler!
They are just mufflers

This. Plenty of big name companies have been trying to squeeze every horsepower out of these platforms, yet here comes Craptech with a hacked together AXLE BACK system using off the shelf mufflers and puts down 20-30whp???

Looks like these are $760 during FT's "sale". There aren't too many viable cat-back options out there. For < $800, I suppose if you're just looking for sound + weight savings, it's a lot easier to swallow than the $2k GT Haus set up.

pearlpower seems to be the only thoughtful voice in the whole thread.

When I did my MBH Long Tubes I picked up 46 whp I then swapped my 55 mufflers for 63's, sound better, but gain wise hardly anything...

There is NO WAY these will make that kind of power, sounds like bait and switch and trying to get people to buy into something that they know is Not true...

NO

You will not get that much of HP swing on normal temp changes.

In on of the posts they said that the +40 run was the highest and then it was trending down and they posted the +25

They are gaming the system to try to make sales. It's just like Exotic-Metal and his dyno run and his "Legit numbers"
