The article mentioned that the AMG 4WD system will differ from the traditional 4MATIC system by having a permanent 67/33 (rear/front) torque split.....no extra clutches or complex torque biasing system. I'm sure simplifying the system adds a lot of strength and durability and shaves pounds too...
In the ongoing HP war, traction is key. A 4WD platform sounds like an awfully smart move to me.

I have great respect for current Bi Turbo m157 models and MCT transmission but I always wondered, if m156 E63 have MCT...would the performance specs would be same as m157 E63 models?
