Not those cars in particular but from my experience, I currently own a 03 c32 and 04 e55, and by far e55 is the one you should be patient and wait for!

Thanks again for all the input... and the math lesson. So I have canned the idea of a salvage title. I went last night and looked at a 2005 E55 with 108k, down to $16k. VERY clean all service records, 1 owner. This afternoon, I looked at the C32 at the beginning of the thread, about perfect car, 52k asking $13. I am leaning towards the C32. If I buy it, I will upgrade in a year or two into an E55.

If handling and depreciation are concerns, you should look at the M3 and M5.

I owned mine with zero issues for five years
