Do I have the highest milage e55 AMG?
I have 136,312 miles on the clock, all stock as of now. But was wondering if anyone else had high milage with mods. Just trying to feel it out if I should slap some headers and pulley on.

--It's a good time if you've never been down there, nice setup, would give you a good baseline before you start your mods.

Yeah I know Dinwiddie well. I used to teach in Dinwiddie before I opened my shop. We won the High School Drag league two years ago with my EVO. I didnt think they were open this late in the year. I checked Richmond and they were done. I am open on Saturdays till 3pm, but if I can get the guys to close up for me, I may go.

--yeah man sneak out if you can I love having someone to run with, otherwise it's hit or miss and you just kinda race against your own time, but i'll probably be out there around 2 till they close down at 5

I highly doubt you are the highest.. Ive seen plenty around 130k-140k miles.. As long as you are up on the maintenance, then go for some mods..

134k on mine with longtube headers, ecu tune, and heatexchanger since 128k and been driving it hard with no issues. I think mines all highway miles though man I pulled the valve covers off when I first got it and everything look like pure aluminum with no oil tint at all. It all depends on how the cars been treated for all those miles. I myself am holding off on doing the lower pulley since I've been seeing so many pulley failures and crank keys sheering off. Do exhaust, cooling, and ecu mods first. It'll keep you happy for a while

Justinwrock has a lot on his 03... Not sure the number 170k+ I think. I remember the one Steve is referring too. I wouldn't be afraid of a high mileage E55. Well engineered with quality material. I wouldn't be surprised to see a 300k. Sad thing is most sit....

166,000 on my 2004 e55!!!
Just replaced the trans today but I think it was fine and was actually just a misdiagnosed supercharger jerk instead, so the supercharger is getting swapped over in the next weeks

this was a old thread that you guys bumped you may not need to replace the supercharger it may just be a supercharger clutch, or it may need to be shamed appropriately at the supercharger clutch, you could also try putting the transmission in sport and likes to take off in first gear and doesn't jerk as much in first, when you put the transmission in C or comfort it takes off in second gear, and I noticed my car jerks more in second. the jerkiness is very common and you may be chasing nothing you can change
