Thank You, It was nice to meet you as well...You had some pretty decent runs too, you certainly had to work for it launching the Z06.
Thanks and its still street tame to let the wife drive if I have a bunch of drinks, but she doesn't even break 3,000 RPMs

Do it you will enjoy it like a new car!!!
Thanks....No its not the quickest 1/4, but for what it has its probably the first in to 10's without exhaust, intake and or larger intercoolers.
Thank You
Big thanks for first round coaching back in February...I just needed another .001 to beat you. I guess sharing the quickest 60 ft with you isn't too bad. LOL
Thanks, I never thought my car would be on the year end list, but I'm not complaining.
Thank you, just trying to do my part for us big 2 door guys.

I need to get some traction before I head to the strip with my Eurocharged CL.
What rims did you mount the ET Streets on?
Congrats on a great achievement. Especially without an LSD!

They look like the stock 65 wheels but they are silver knockoffs. I bought them from a member, but I never got around to having them painted the stock gunmetal to match the fronts.
Thank you it was so hit or miss trying to get both to catch, but when they did....

Thank you very much.

There are a number of different posts on how to do a burnout, but I'll share my experience with the CL65. First, "dyno mode" allows the tires to spin much easier without any type of interruption or braking from traction control. The button on the center of the dash will not shut it off completely, but dyno mode will. From there, lots of water, back and forth to get the tires wet (only rears). Place the car in manual mode and give it a quick spin. Check to see you are still in 1st gear, pull up out of the water and spin allowing you foot off the brake slowing as you move up remove your foot off the gas. If you have someone watching for you, they can let you know if you have both tires spinning or not. Otherwise, you will hear a loud howling if you are only spinning one. Stop before you blow your ring gear and try again. When the smoke passes you and you smell it in the car you should be good. I may not be the best to describe, but that is my interpretation. Now you can understand why an LSD can make things much simpler. After that pull up to the lights, return to 1st in Manual mode, and bring the rpms up until you feel like the car is going to push thru the brakes and then go full pedal(~2200-2400rpm) on the last yellow and the let the car shift on its own in manual mode. If you spin off the line its because you weren't able to get both tires to spin in the burn out. I hope that helps.
