Arrow Facelift Mirrors

so i've been wanting to update my mirrors, i've seen a few people have done this mod just had a couple questions

through reading threads i gathered that they are plug in play..

but does it matter what options the mirrors have? power folding, heated, etc. as far as them plugging up with my current mirror harness that obviously doesn't have these options?

i don't expect to to get those options, i would be satisfied with just the actually mirror control

thanks in advance

Yes they will work regardless of the options on the mirrors.

i heard you had to drill new holes to mount? Is that true? If so not sure id call it plug and play. Id like to do this as well...but cant justify $1500 for mirrors

Yes you have to drill two new holes if I remember correctly. It is a pain in the *** to get the holes lined up to drill, but it does freshen the car up nicely.

yea i can't imagine the holes being hard to drill... i would assume the hardest part would be pulling the panel

and yes i was going to go with aftermarket oe replacements, cause the cheapest i can find oem ones for is anywhere for 500-600 a side. the oem replacements ones i can get for just under 370 for the pair

That's what you think, it's not your average DIY, that was a b1tch* to drill those holes, and you don't need to take the door panel off, just pull off that top plastic cover and tweeter.

He'll find out soon enough how easy it is to drill those holes.

was it just hard to get it all to line up? im not sure how the mirrors even mount to be honest, are they just like threaded pegs with nuts?

that's just a generic pic, the years are bracketed appropriately for the facelift version i.e. 2007-2009

Are you sure about that? When I add 2003 e55 mirrors and 2007 e63 mirrors to my cart, they both have the same sku number, MZ18ER-PLK. I would expect them to have different numbers.
