Supercharger clutch engagement / disengagement
Does anyone know exactly what causes the clutch to disengage? Seems like if I even stop at a light or stop sign for a second it will chirp on again when I accelerate..
Sometimes I wish it would just stay engaged at all times so I don't have to be annoyed by the chirp and car bucking back and forth every time I want to give it a little more gas than normal.
What is the fix for this anyhow, a new (2006+) supercharger clutch? Where can I get one of those besides the stealership?

My car is an 03 and it would chirp often. After driving the car for a few years, I hardly noticed it anymore. I got the smaller supercharger pulley and belt wrap kit from Shardul a few months ago and now I've noticed that the chirp is gone, completely.

Apparently, from what i remember, i think it is based off of throttle position, and/ or rpm above ~1500rpm for the clutch to engage.
Not sure how to make it stay engaged. Maybe change setting in ECU for the clutch engagement or shim the clutch to stay pretty tight?

Its definitely throttle position and not rpm. I can stay in gear and slowly climb rpm without it engaging. Maybe I will have to see what I can do about shimming.
