Couple of Questions for Everyone

Hey All,

Merry Christmas! Hope everyone is having a safe and fun holiday.

Got a question and before anyone asks, I did search

My damn door open image shows up in the display, does not indicate there is a door open, but chimes constantly for about 20 or so minutes before it stops. Ususally when the car is first started and it did not start happening till it got cold. Any ideas on what would cause that false reading?

Thanks in advance people...take it easy!

Merry Christmas to you too.

Can't say that i have ran into a bad door switch in any of my cars, but i guess it is possible one went bad, or has a bad ground. Just a thought, but doubt it is that though. You're not mistaking the fasten seat belt chime are you? Haha. Good luck.

Yeah, sad part is, when I open the doors, the correct door is shown open on the dispay. Then when the door is closed, it shows closed but the damn chime still goes off and it says the door is open. Make me crazy when I have to drive with that chiming.
