Found this under Jerrry@Eurocharge signature "Tuner of the WORLDS FASTEST E55 - 10.46 @ 134.42" After asking around it seems like this is a mystery. I don't know why, but maybe someone that knows can post up some information to satisfy our curiosity.

I believe there was silence because there always seems to be this silly "my tuner" vs. "your tuner" nonsense....My guess is Jerry is just trying to let his clients do the talking...

the only 10.46 that was posted here was a mustang not an E55, also, the whole thing with tuners posting about the fastest this fastest that has been between the tuners, when Jerry was up, we all had to agree and say that is was fact but now that Jeremy from OE tuning has it why should he not have his time, whats fair is fair and as of Nov 2012, OE tuning has the record for the fastest E55 on lowpro's car

If anyone has any proof of any E55 going faster than 10.50 then post slips and video as lowpro has done

 

Someone is gonna end up gutting the hell out of one of these and making a banzai run then putting it all back together again just to claim fastest E55.

That was my plan before it broke lol. I went 10.51 at 4400lbs and DA was at 1800ft so i figured if i got some negative DA and removed everything i could to get down to 4100lbs i would be looking at 10.20's maybe down in the teens but it wasn't meant to be. The pass the car broke (on a 80-90 shot of nitrous hit after the 60ft) i went 6.49 to the 1/8 with it nosing over right at the 1/8th. If that was a full pass it would of gone no slower than a 10.12. One of these cars with a 200 shot would be crazy. Just don't know how long it would last.....

 

Who cares what you have on the car, the FASTEST means just that, your car crossed the traps first. There is no section on dragtimes or street racing for pulley only, full bolt on minus nitrous, nitrous only, full bolt on plus nitrous, built motor plus a damn rocket on the back of your car, lol.

Who knows, there are probably faster E55's on the street than that, which have never been down the strip, called street racers. All I know is if you have the quickest documented time through the traps, no matter what the hell is on the car, then you have the right to claim fastest E55 in the country, no freakin disclaimers to follow

If that is a legit time, that is stout, and kudo's for having the ballzzz to hit the squeeze, and click off such a run!

There has been a couple of 10 second E55's running around So Cal for sometime now. One of them is now stock waiting on his 2013-14 E63. There is a lot of bs slinging around the forums so some people dont want to deal with that. Or they just like to hustle the street scene..

 

I've heard several stories of a former forum member from baltimore that ran 10.40's on nitrous at MIR. I've never been down with the 20 records for each car. Boost only,tune only,180/tune/air filter,drag radial tune and so on. A record is a record regardless of how you got there. I'm building my car for my own goals not for "records" but those come within my goals. Run 9's on a stock blower without nitrous and then spray it and run as fast as possible. Like Craig said the fastest means just that.

 

at what point is the car no longer an E55 and just a racecar ?

 

I think the majority of guys here root for the driver and car, no matter who the tuner is. Its the newbs that start the tuner wars. Maybe the record setter wants to stay in the dark. I know street racers dont like to share their times with the world. Congrats to who ever the person is and that includes the tuner. Congrats EC.

couldn't agree more. We all know too well what it takes to get these cars to this level. I know of a few street boys who have extremely fast cars that always run NC at the track. There is always a faster car...

 

 

Well here we go again , Only thing that counts is who has the faster car and what their modd combinations are period . Full weight or a gutted out race car , all motor or nos assisted .. Just tell the truth .. Good Grief
