Opinions from people that own the smaller s/c pulley

I want to know how they are holding up so far ? Do you guys really feel the claim of 2psi in boost ? How is the thottle response ? How many miles have you put on with it so far and is it running with no problems what so ever ? Still on the fence about it just want multiple opinions from ppl that have DD the car and done a ton of WOT with it installed.
Thanks

Mine hasnt given me any troubles thus far. I only put about a 1,000 miles on my car before I put it away for winter storage though.. I did go to the track with it, so have a few WOT pulls on it. You shouldnt have any troubles with it.

I had one of the first one. The rivets came loose so I had to return and Shardul sent me a new one. The second is fine for about a month and now the screeching sound coming back. I just need to re shim it.

As far as the 2psi claim, that is very generous estimate. May be on a stock car? I see less than 1psi increase.

Is it worth it? Hell yeah!! Just the reduce weight alone is worth it.

Now Shardul and company need to come out with a clutch less pulley.

clutch less pulley is easy to make.. now how many of you will want to drill / pin etc the cluch less pulley on your existing sc snout / magnet ?

I'm game.

Can we remove the magnet too?

Just think how much weight that would drop. You can tell just by spinning it with your hand that there is some definite heft there.

I say go for it. I don't drive my car much, less than 4k miles a year so I can't speak to the durability aspect of the pulley. I can tell you from a performance perspective, its a no brainer, easy install and expect at least 20hp/20+ torque. Finding a better bang for your buck, not likely.

I think after the new intercooler my next project will be switching to a clutchless SC setup. I think mostly so I can continue to be the bane of Jerry's existence

We are looking at ways to go clutchless but it seems the easiest way would be to weld the unit together but then you still have the weight of the clutch.

I've thought about, but it seems crappy to have to be stock with the clutch. I need to buy a ruined SC so I can tear it apart completely and see if we can come up with something better.
