My current headlights are halogen and have the plastic covers that are becoming an eyesore. I would like to upgrade to a HID and glass cover unit all at the same time and was curious if anyone knew a high quality replacement. I searched online a bit and found a company called mtech that upgrades the existing headlights but leaves the plastic cover...are they a good quality product?

I've seen some people do the upgrade at home but you'd possibly have to take the front bumper off. Also I'm not sure if Halogens came with active adapting technology cuz after upgrading to the ebay link you might lose that.
