Just got Eurocharged
Just loaded up the V4 tune from Jerry. Must say that after a quick 15mi drive in traffic, I'm already in love with it. Crisp, smooth and great power, and the trans logic is AWESOME!! Shifts firmer, quicker, holds a gear longer, and downshifts sooner with converter lockup.
I could feel the ECM learning as I went...after driving it through the next week, ill be looking to hoping onto my DynoJet 224 on Friday to see stock vs V4 numbers. All I have done is tune, K&N's and reso delete.
Wonder if I can crack 400rwhp??

Is this the handheld they offer? I know you said v4 tune but could you elaborate on what specifically it is claimed to do? Cant wait to hear more results. Thanks

Most important thing I've noticed, is low-end grunt is HUGE, second gear starts are much faster and uses less throttle input to get moving.
Driving in "M" mode produces MUCH greater wheel spin even with TC on. Light blinks far longer and more often with brisk driving.
Also in "M" mode, paddle shifts are MUCH faster...when I pull to Upshift, the delay is hugely reduced, I can almost shift from first-second without bumping the rev-limiter. Before, I'd pull a second gear shift at ~6500rpm, and it would STILL touch the 7300 limiter before it would shift. Now I can call a second gear shift @65-6800 and second gear comes ~7100rpm. So much improvement.
Ill be adding more driving info as I put more miles on it. Also my wife will be driving a few days this week, so ill have her perspective to offer as well.

oh yea you'll definitely break 400RWHP! mine stock pulled 409 and then 420 after the eurocharged ECU flash and all i had done at the time was delete the resonator, so basically nothing. and the dyno should sound and look something like this

I think I did 467 RWHP
I have KNN/Tune/Kleemann headers connected to 3" pipe all the way back to the reso.
I get wheel spin in 3rd...on 19" CLS wheels... I need a Diff....have a set of drag radials I will try in the summer.

Well no dyno time yet...had a broken truck on the rack where the dyno is.
Overall I am very happy with the tuning..its much improved over stock. Haven't had enough "SANE" time in it to get a MPG report...but at this point I don't care.
The Mid-Range (under the curve) power is incredible...it takes FAR less throttle input to get going and less to accelerate than before.
Before it was difficult to get the TC light to blink in 2nd...now its quite blink happy, also on street tires and the TC off...first gear is just about useless in WOT.
Like I said...I am VERY happy and most impressed.
If MS109 wasnt $14/gal here where i live, id be tempted to toss 10/gal in and go to the track and see where we end up.
As I am SURE that with min 98octane fuel like the Euro guys have...this thing would be even better...but Im in Cali and stuck with this oxygenated 91 octane thats almost no better than a bottle of Jack Daniels.
Also i am sure with better octane, Jerry could dial the timing up and just make this into a DREAM!!!

^^ You really won't gain a lot of power by adding timing to your current tune...
I would rather run a little less timing and be safe
...
If you want a lot more power - headers, head work, or adding a s/c or turbo would be the next steps IMHO....

Are they really that beneficial for a N/A application?
Also the charcoals have been gone for a bit, and I've got K&N's.
Possibly thinking about a TCM tune...anybody have one in the 7-g trans??
Are they worth it?

I've been talking to jake @ eurocharged about doing the TCU flash for some time now. I'd do it in a heartbeat if someone else took out the module for me, I don't really trust myself to take it out.
