2008 E63 Aux port
So my car appears to have the factory IPOD cord in the glove box and the aux port at the top of the glove box. This morning I plugged in a 3.5 plug into the aux and the other into my Razer Max and got nothing for sound. When I pushed aux on the head unit it said no IPOD found. Did they disconnect the aux port to do the IPOD? Or should both function?

It will charge the iPhone if two things are done. First many of the supplied cables had an incorrect pin-out arrangement. Mine did, I got an updated free replacement at MBLN. Second, an adapter is required, I got mine from Cartronics a year or so ago. Those two things done it works perfect and charges the phone.

Wait what? I had the dealer install the iPod/iPhone adapter in my old e350 I had and it would charge the phone. My 07 e63 has the ipod integration kit, and it too also charges the iPhone 4 at least.

I've only had my '08 e63 for a couple of weeks, and tried to play my ipod touch through the cable in the glovebox, but I couldnt get it to work at all... I also noticed it would not charge the ipod...
What am I missing here?
When I selected "aux" on the comand console I got nothing...
