I don't really know how I feel about the S version/edition or whatever it is called. The badge looks way too tacky! I'm still saving my pennies for it, but I think all AMGs should be at the top trim level period, no damn options when it comes to performance! Of course we want them! The only options should be like pano roof and that lazy drivers assist thing. Everything else should be standard on an AMG model!
Whatever though, I still can't wait until I get my hands on one after selling my other leg. How's that war in afghan going?

if you've noticed over the past few years, AMG has been adding more and more options... I wonder if the S-version will be standard with ceramic brakes or maybe those will be an option as well!

Overpriced *** ceramic brakes seem to be an option as the website shows a regular setup and the ceramic setup. I don't think I'd ever buy a car with the crazy expensive brakes. I tend to like the bargain gems a few years used and not atrociously expensive to maintain.

Talk about sleepurrr status!
This Wagon version is also on the 1st post of this thread.
Getting your *** handed to from stoplight to stoplight by guy w/few kids bouncing around in back seats holding Loser hand symbol on their foreheads would emasculate vast majority of Exotic/Domestic & modded rides this AWD w/simple RENNtech tune should be devastating IE easily under 3 seconds 0-60 mph

Here is a link to the specifics of the euro car with release dates.

Lots of interesting options not previously available, albeit mostly cosmetic.
They also seem to be stepping up the S package with some unique trim.
I bet a fully loaded S 4matic with all carbon options and CC brakes will kiss $150k.
