E55 Rotor

Hey,

So I went through pages and pages regarding rotors but to no avail .

Brake pads I've seen recommended here are EBC Redstuff and AKenobo (spelled wrong probably)

What about Rotors ? OEM or some other aftermarket better priced option which is slotted as well ?
Does our front rotors really need 8 pads ?
Every time we change brakes, do we need to replace wear sensor as well ?

What do you say ?

I have been using R1 COncept rotors on all of me vehicles for some time now. I was skeptical at first because all of the Honda guys recommended them. But, I have used them on some of my prized babies with great results. During a huge LX meet in Houston, my ran my highly modded SRT8 on a "road course" and witnessed no brake fade. Can not say the same for those with the stock rotors.

OEM rotors are very cheap. There is another brand which I have been running and they were only around $60 each. They have held up with no issues and every spec I mic'd, inspected etc were spot on to OEM. Do not recall the name. Generally the cheap rotors are junk with less meat on them, not enough vanes, etc. But these have been great. OEMs can be had for $90 or so each.

Not cheap but what I mean, is there an option between OEM and those 1900 evosport rotors ?

Rotors and pads both should go hand in hand right ? I mean if one is better than other it'll eat that. What brand is OEM ?

I'm running stoptech pads/rotors on my car, WAY less brake dust and performance has been slightly better than OEM. Plus cost about the same as OEM equipment
