On my 2005 w211 the locking mechanism is messed up. Whenever I press the lock button (remote or on console), all doors lock fine except for the front passenger - on that one, the door lock pin goes down, jumps back up, then down again - sort of like a double bobbing motion. This started about a month ago, and the lock would still engage after, but now every other time, it tries doing the double motion but then stays up. Does anyone have an idea what's going on and what part number I need to get to fix this? If anyone has a DIY/directions on this, that would be pretty awesome too. I have Keyless Go, btw, that probably matters. Thanks!

door lock actuator has died......................the only way to sort it is to buy a new door lock.

There is another cheaper option, The problem is with a small spring inside the actuator. I bought new springs and am in the process of rebuilding
