EOBD 2 to read check engine code?
Hello,

I have an EOBD 2 wire that I got from Eurocharged so I can remotely get a re-tune if ever needed. I recently got a check engine light and connected that to my laptop and tried using a software called scantool and I kept getting the error "interface not found" .

Has anyone else tried reading codes using laptop with that wire ?
Is the wire defective or I need some other plug or software to make it read the code?
